German Dental Students Association
The Federation of dental students in Germany (BdZM) is a registered non-profit association whose aim is the common interests and concerns of all 15,000 students of dentistry responsible for oral and Maxillofacial Surgery together in Germany.
The BdZM understood as an umbrella organization of student student representatives at all 30 locations in Germany. The volunteer board has a two-year term and is currently made up of six students from five locations between the 4th and 10th semester.
Through information channels, such as the semi-annual find Federal Student Council Meeting (BuFaTa), the quarterly publications Association journal Dental Fresh, as well as every six weeks appearing email newsletter Up To Date informed the BdZM its members about current events and projects.
The BdZM is in close contact with the German Dental Association (BZÄK) Kassenzahnärztliche Confederation (KZBV), the German Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (DGZMK) including their professional associations, the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG), the Association of University Professors of tooth — Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (VHZMK), the Free Association of German Dentists Association (FVDZ) Dentista eV, the sister organization of the Federal Association of the dental Alumni in Germany (BdZA), and the European dental Students’ Association (EDSA) and the dental exchange service (ZAD) as a student partner organization.
As the voice of the professional youth and the future of the state which is BdZM listened for questions on dental study and change the profession with confidence. For this we thank you.

The BdZM was launched and networked, as the first advocacy, students of different universities in Germany. The BdZM has always been the patron of the Federal Student Council meeting, which va, all dental students union in Germany in the pre-Internet era, as the main medium.
Jan-Philipp Schmidt (also founder of today BdZA) takes over the management of BdZM, wore this as a volunteer and non-profit association in the register and made the representation an official eV
The BdZM and the German Dental Association (BZÄK) include an official cooperation agreement.
